Sponsor: General Mills Sales, Inc., One General Mills Boulevard, Minneapolis, MN 55440 (“General Mills” or “Sponsor”).
Entry Period: The General Mills X Mexican National Team Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is open between September 22, 2022 at 10:00 AM Central Time (“CT”) and October 20, 2022 at 11:59 PM CT on (the “Entry Period”). Sweepstakes open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, 18 years of age or older.
How to Enter: To receive one (1) entry, during the Entry Period, visit the @GeneralMillsCereal page on Instagram at www.Instagram.com/generalmillscereal, find the Sweepstakes post made at approximately 10 a.m. CT on September 22, 2022 that has “SWEEPSTAKES” at the front of the caption (the “Sweepstakes Post”) and complete these steps: 1. Follow @generalmillscereal (if you are not doing so already) and 2. Make an appropriate comment on the Sweepstakes Post using the hashtag #MNTCerealSweepstakes. Void where prohibited by law. Limit one (1) entry per person, per day using only one (1) Instagram account during the Entry Period. Entry requests generated by script, macro or other automated or improper means are void. Six (6) winners be selected in a random drawing occurring on or about October 24, 2022 from among all eligible entries received throughout the Entry Period. An Instagram account is available for free at www.Instagram.com. All Terms and Conditions of Instagram apply.
Prizes: Six (6) prize packages will be awarded. Each prize package will consist of a General Mills Cereal Kit, containing 4 full size cereal boxes and an official Mexican National Team soccer jersey in size Large, a mini tabletop soccer game PLUS one private, digital meet and greet via Zoom with a former player of the Mexican National Team (“Meet and Greet”). Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of each prize package: $300. ARV of all prize packages awarded: $1,800.00. Potential winners will receive a direct message and/or comment from Sponsor via Instagram on or around November 3, 2022.
Exact mini tabletop soccer game and jersey make, model and color to be determined by Sponsor, in their sole discretion. All details of the Meet and Greet are at Sponsor’s discretion, including which former player will participate. Sponsor will coordinate a mutually approved time and date for the Meet and Greet with winners, but in such event that a time cannot be agreed upon before December 31, 2022, the Meet and Greet Portion of the prize will be forfeit. No more than fifteen (15) people may be present at the Meet and Greet.
Comment Conditions: Entries may be deemed void if Sponsor determines, in its sole discretion, that a post (i) is sexually explicit or suggestive; violent or derogatory of any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, professional or age group; (ii) depicts or identifies a child that is not the child or legal ward of the entrant; (iii) promotes alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, or firearms/weapons; promotes any activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous; (iv) is obscene or offensive; (v) contains defamatory or disparaging remarks about other people or companies; (vi) contains personal identification, such as personal names or e-mail addresses; (vii) contains materials owned or controlled by others, without permission; (viii) communicates messages inconsistent with the positive images and/or good will to which Sponsor wishes to associate; or (ix) violates any law.
General Conditions: Sweepstakes may be withdrawn without prior notice. Released Parties (as defined below) are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, inaccurate, stolen, delayed, misdirected, or undelivered entries or posts, incorrect, changed or non-functioning Instagram accounts; or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, printer errors, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer errors of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of entry requests, posts, or in any Sweepstakes-related materials. Released Parties are not responsible for injury or damage to participants' or to any other person's computer or printer related to or resulting from participating in this Sweepstakes or downloading materials from or use of the website. Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of the Sweepstakes, as solely determined by Sponsor, will be disqualified. Should any portion of the Sweepstakes be, in Sponsor’ sole opinion, compromised by bugs, virus, worms, non-authorized human intervention or other causes, which, in the sole opinion of Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or submission of information, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to terminate the Sweepstakes and, if terminated, at its discretion, select the potential winners from all eligible, non-suspect entries/posts received prior to action taken. By participating, you agree (i) to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor which are final and binding, and (ii) to release and hold harmless Sponsor, the Mexican National Football Team, Instagram, their subsidiaries, affiliates, retailers, and advertising and promotion agencies and all of their respective officers, directors, employees and agents (“Released Parties”) against any liability, for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including death, to persons, or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in this Sweepstakes or acceptance and use of an prize.
